Implementing VR

In a rush to get Defective Studios’ CosmoKnots / GimbalCop ready for Boston’s Festival of Indie Games, I crammed in a virtual reality mode using the Oculus Rift DK1. After about a week and a half, I added a cockpit model and texture, VR GUI, and full functionality for the new hardware. The ability to see around you and even glance in the direction your vehicle would be heading was an exciting new addition.
